Sunset Sudbury, a self-directed school, is South Florida’s first Sudbury model program. It is a non-profit, private school based on the principles of freedom, trust, and responsibility. Below are some quick facts about our program.

Location: We are currently located at 2300 SW 15th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.

Tuition: For the 2024-2025 academic year, tuition is $10,030 for the first enrolled child in each family. The second child receives a 10% discount and any additional children receive a 15% discount. Part-time tuition, available for 5 year olds, is $6,180.

Grades/Ages: Students ages 5 – 18 can attend. While we do not segregate students by age or any other characteristic, our students are in the traditional age ranges for kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school.

Hours: Regular school hours are from 9:00am to 3:30pm.  We also offer Extended Hours Care upon special request when arrangements are made in advance.

Calendar: Our school follows Broward County’s public school calendar, including holidays and employee planning days. A copy of the current calendar can found at browardschools.com.
